Membership & Dues
Membership in the society is open to all persons interested in genealogy. All members receive a subscription to the WGGS Newsletter and Quarterly, free queries in the WGGS Quarterly, inclusion of their ancestor charts in the WGGS Ancestor Books and Surname Index, discounts on WGGS sponsored workshops and most WGGS special publications, and up to one free hour limited research assistance outside the WGGS collection.
Annual Membership Dues are payable August 1 of each year. Members RENEWING after the 2nd Wednesday of October - please indicate if you wish to receive issues of the Quarterly that you missed and include $5.00 for shipping. New members who join during the year receive the year's Quarterlies, but no back issues of the Newsletter.
- Individual - $20
- Family - $25 (two or more persons at the same address receiving one copy of the Newsletter and Quarterly)
- Charter Individual - $10 (Membership in effect before July 31, 1983 and continuous since that date)
- Charter Family - $15 (Membership in effect before July 31, 1983 and continuous since that date)
- Individual Life - $250
- Family Life - $300
- Student (ages 12-15) - $10
- Sustaining - $30
